Union Wood Co. has a strong following in the Vancouver community, thanks to owner Craig Pearce’s reputation as someone who stands for doing what you want and being successful at it.

Pearce and his team have created a furniture design company that has a ton of fun, but the passion and devotion for their work seeps into each and every piece they construct. Union Wood Co. is known for using reclaimed materials for its furniture. Incorporating these used, and often discarded, components stems from Pearce’s interest in the history behind the things we love to use. We sat down with Craig to dig deeper into how he got started and why he’s so attracted to working with wood. We thought he should explain it in his own words.
